Kansas City Royals owner David Glass says the team is not for sale. “I have never ever talked to anyone about selling the club,” Glass told the Kansas City Star for a story published Thursday. “Period. I have never had a discussion with anyone about it, and I have no interest in doing so.” Glass was responding to rumors that he was looking to get rid of the club. He purchased the team in 2000 from the estate of Ewing Kauffman after spending the previous seven years as the club's chairman and CEO.
