Brian Bannister and Luke Hochevar were reinstated from the disabled list Friday and will go back into the Kansas City Royals rotation, while catcher Jason Kendall had surgery to repair extensive damage to his right rotator cuff. Bannister will start Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins, after missing 23 games with right rotator cuff tendinitis.
