Royals shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt was held out of Kansas City's lineup Wednesday against the Texas Rangers after sustaining a mild concussion in a collision at home plate one day earlier. Betancourt was injured when he came around to score on a sacrifice fly in the third inning Tuesday and collided with Rangers catcher Matt Treanor.
