Right-hander Robinson Tejeda has been activated by the Kansas City Royals. Right-hander Kanekoa Texeira was put on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Saturday, with a strained right elbow. The moves were announced Sunday before the Royals game at Cleveland. Tejeda missed 27 games with a strained right biceps tendon.
