Kansas City Royals first baseman Billy Butler has left the game at Minnesota because of bruised right hand. Denard Span hit a hard chopper for the Twins to start the third inning of Tuesday's game that took a tough bounce at Butler and grazed his right, non-gloved, hand. The ball skipped by him into right field, and Butler immediately winced in pain.
